The plastic part in the vinyl cutter is 4 7/8 inches thick, and has 3/4" of seam allowance. In order to help remove this the cutter is attached for better alignment. All these features give the vinyl cutter a nice, clean, soft appearance, and are one of the benefits of having the vinyl cutter in the shop. All this means you will not have to worry about it becoming stuck on the bench. *Due to the nature of that particular vinyl cutter, to be exact, it will not be able to remove it safely. If the plastic is any closer than that then it cannot be reused as a dishwasher. That is, it cannot be reused easily, so for best results, please leave the dishwasher off in the sink with no access to it. No Handle, No Drying Machine As mentioned earlier, these are only materials that can be used to remove the vinyl cutter. You cannot replace the cutter, so please use the included repair kits if you see your cutter do not work. The one we are offering works perfectly and is available in a wide variety of colors. In order to be on the safe side, the cutter must be set well on all of the cuts available, and must be cleaned regularly.
