Bulldog Original Bamboo Razor + Blade 1x Sculpted by a Team Member Description: These blades were the original bamboo swords from Japan that we used around the time we began painting with our "real" bamboo. A classic Japanese tradition of using a blade with a sharp edge, a thick blade shaped like a sword, and a thick blade made from the sharp material was very popular on our Japanese artists. They also were made from an all clear composite material. We used an ALL clear material, making these swords a clear choice for our clients. If a blade has no shape, such as a short and slender cross section of bamboo, then a blade with a curved tip or edge must use ALL clear materials. We did not use some of the original designs to work with, as some design elements needed updating before we made a new blade. Some of the original designs, like the back, back, spine, forefoot and waist, do not make a difference. You must always think for yourself, when choosing a design that you will apply to each unique blade. To give an example, we cut the spine at the base to correct for any shape changes in a sword. These design change are simply a bit more complicated at the blade blade level. A single blade with a curved edge, not a straight section, can have almost a full-on sharp tip, as well.
